Why choose the ATC against our rivals or learning abroad?
The Aquanaut Training Centre was 'born' in 1993 after travelling for 2 years as a PADI Professional visiting over 40 countries and diving with well over 75 dive centres. I was not overly impressed with what I saw. Generally large groups with too little attention given to the diving skills taught in the pool dive sessions. As a result I have based the ATC's successful format on small group teaching, allowing us to give the necessary attention to each individual as they learn to 'master' these important diving skills in a fairly new and complex sport. To achieve 'mastery' repetition is necessary thus we provide 6-8 hours of pool time per course so that no skills are missed or rushed. It is unlikely this is achieved in larger groups' even if the same amount of pool time is given, and my understanding is that 4-5 hours is average - This is the main factor that makes us different from our rivals.
We understand the importance of price when making a decision but this is not the only important factor to consider especially with a new and potentially dangerous sport. With our pool times you can achieve 'mastery'!
How is this 'mastery' achieved?
We take a great deal of pride in our instruction, constantly monitoring your progress, repeating skills until you have 'mastered' them, and 'nagging' you when necessary into developing 'good' diving habits.
Being part of a small group, with individual attention and thorough training from experienced instructors will enable you to leave us as a competent and good 'new' diver, quickly earning the respect of other experienced divers because of your professional approach.
Money-back guarantee
I guarantee you will learn how to scuba dive with us. You will be well trained and have a better understanding of your limitations and responsibilities of your new qualification. This knowledge will make you feel more confident and comfortable in the water no matter what level you come to us, whether it is as a complete novice - or even a 'rusty' instructor!
I am so confident of this I will reimburse you with the instructional fee if you feel this is not the case once you have had the chance to compare yourself with other new divers either here or abroad.
For all that we offer on our courses wouldn't you expect to pay a little more?
