One of the most satisfying and rewarding of the PADI courses (prior to the professional level), this course is for divers who wish to become more self-reliant and take on a greater responsibility for themselves and others.

The course is designed to educate you in rescue diving techniques. The theory includes topics such as emergency management, self-rescue and diver stress which are assessed by an exam. These areas are initially discussed in the academic sessions and then put into practice over a 2-day intensive period of open water dives.

Course Requirements & Location

Advanced Open Water with EFR or equivalent, signed off PADI documentation.
Participate in up to 3 pool sessions, an afternoon of theory and 1 full day of      Qualifying Rescue Dive Scenario dives.
Course costs (materials can be bought for £35) exclude travel, accommodation,
      and dive site entry fees.
